@_JustinMoon_ @Fonta1n3 @achow101 @GordianWallet The objections have been "use SSH to delete the file" but then I have to have SSH keys on remote, or "an attacker could delete your wallet" but if they have access to your node with the wallet on it you've already lost (and there is RPC blacklisting possible now in 0.20).

@_JustinMoon_ @Fonta1n3 @achow101 @GordianWallet As far as "delete watch-only ok, but not wallets with private keys": that bitcoind wallet file better not be your only copy of the private key! You should be able to delete it, especially if is used in a multisig scenario where it is needed only temporarily as it is offline.

@_JustinMoon_ @Fonta1n3 @achow101 @GordianWallet Thus I'd like to have the option to delete wallet material from inside bitcoin-core using RPC. You really see this with GordianServer, where there can be a lot of old watch-only wallets hanging around that should to be deleted. This is a consequence of the new multisig world.
