Hashed data with suitable nonces, as well as various hash trees should not be considered pseudo-anonymous, as the same values hashed at another time result in different hashes and thus are not correlateable. But I agee bare hashes are often a bad idea — a lesson from FOAF.

When your identity is decentralized it is a lot safer to have your data be merely distributed. There are emerging protocols for enabling decentralized data (IPFS etc) & decentralized transit (Tor etc) In the meantime there is a place for portable data from traditional vendors.
