We have a nice Mac App that will install a full node on your own Mac and a hidden onion tor service so that you can control it from your remote iOS device using any app that supports the Bitcoin QuivkConnect standard. The iOS apps are beta, but Bitcoin Standup app works great.

Security is a lot about how much is at risk. After we are no longer in beta, and when I put more serious funds on multisig & my full node is at home Mac (over Tor), it is likely I will use two different iCloud accounts for my Mac and my iPhone. It will cause some inconvenience.

We are planning to use change type 7 for BTCR Decentralized Identifiers, so that you don’t accidentally spend your identity. But when you are done using it you can return the funds back to your mixer and create new uncorrelated ones. Does anyone use change types other than 0 & 1?

There are lots of new players in this space but I’m fairly unhappy with all steel solutions due to local observations from California fires. Hopefully @BlockchainComns will receive more titanium seed backup tools to do comparison tests.

Despite my increasing interest in #StoryGames, my local community has devolved, with the younger members diverted to latest AD&D, and the older community just gaming less. Most F2F StoryGames are now happening at conventions. I would be happy now just have a monthly F2F.
I’ve been tussling with @JoeAndrieu on a definition (companion to functional identity definition). So far “Trust is acceptance of a vulnerability to something you cannot control”. Missing is what makes for why acceptance, which for some is recourse, but others acceptable loss.
Trust may be in the dictionary, but like identity all definitions may be true, but we found that limiting ourselves to using the subset “functional identity” helps us get through some technical obstacles. Finding some equivalent for “xxxxx trust” may also have that good result.

#RWOT10, scheduled for Buenos Aires on March 16-20 has been cancelled. We deeply regret this necessity, but our local hosts let us know that the Argentinian government is now advising against meetings of 10 or more people if they involve foreign travelers. 1/6
This is a worldwide response to COVID-19. Conferences such as F8, Geneva Motor Show, and MWC Barcelona have already been cancelled. Whether we consider the concerns valid or overblown, the international environment had made gatherings of this sort impossible at this time. 2/6

We are already planning an #RWOT11 event, which we plan for Northern Europe in late September. We are seeking sponsorship for this event and to rebuild reserves. We have not yet finalized plans, but watch for more information in the next week. 5/6
