One essential thing to remember about the iPad is that like the iPhone the software upgradeable. iPhone OS 3.2 now, but 4.0 maybe summer.

I’m fascinated with this Amazon/Macmillan fight, with Apple in the corner egging it on. Good arguments on all sides, thus my RTs of best.
The real challenge to Macmillan in the long run is not Amazon, but when a major author (say Stephen King or J K Rowling) goes direct.
